It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Blake Goss, fondly known as Blake, who left this world on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026. Born on Sunday, March 22nd, 1992, Blake was a beloved resident of Cartersville, Georgia, where he touched the lives of many with his infectious laughter and vibrant spirit.

Blake is survived by his loving mother, Michelle Maxell of Cartersville, and his father, Bernard Goss. He was a loving father to his two cherished children, Jason Goss and Cheyenne Goss, who brought immense joy to his life. Blake will be deeply missed by his siblings, Brianna Goss and Tyler Maxell of Corinth, Maine, as well as his grandfather, Michael Mulkey of Cartersville.

He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored him, including Alynn Bryan of Acworth, Denise Botts of Villa Rica, and René and Charles Stansel, along with Tristan Stansel and Jonathon Stansel.

Blake was preceded in death by his grandparents, Deborah Mulkey of Acworth, Joanne McDonald, and Barney Park, along with several other beloved aunts and uncles.

Blake's life was a testament to the power of a contagious smile and a love for laughter. He was a master of practical jokes, always finding ways to bring joy and amusement to those around him. His love for his children was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

A true lover of the outdoors, Blake found peace and happiness in nature, where he felt most at home. His strong spirit and zest for life will be remembered by all who knew him.

A memorial service is currently being planned and will be announced at a later date to celebrate Blake's life and legacy. Arrangements are being provided by Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Blake's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest knowing he brought so much light and laughter into the world.
