Michael Greeley Obituary
Born in Ireland, son of the late John J. and Ann (Hansboro) Greeley, he was educated in Ireland and came to the United States in 1929 and settled in Rochester NY. He moved to Lynn in 1931.
Mr. Greeley worked as a Turbine Assembler at General Electric in the Riverworks Plant for over 35 years, retiring in 1974.
Mr. Greeley was a member of Local #201 I.U.E. AFL-CIO and a member of the General Electric Quarter Center Club. He was a member of Division 10 Ancient Order of Hibernians and is a past president of the Gaelic Club of Lynn. A communicant of St. Mary's church, he enjoyed vacationing in Florida.
He leaves a son John F. Greeley of Lynn and his wife Cynthia, a daughter Frances P. Greeley of Lynn, 2 brothers Bert and James Greeley of Bristol England and three grandchildren, Kathleen and Michael Greeley and Karen Fitch. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Brother of the late William, Thomas and John Greeley, Agnes Williams and Mary Mullarkey.
Funeral from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street Lynn on Monday at 9:00 am. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church at 10:00 am. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lynn.
