Michael Griffith Obituary
Ralph Michael Griffith, 62, of Newberry, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born on June 7, 1962, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Ralph D. “Shorty” and Nancy Faye Street Griffith. Mike worked for Senior Catering and at Komatsu. He was a member of Glenn Street Baptist Church where he was the Baptist Men Coordinator and had sung in the choir.
He is survived by a son, Garrett Griffith of Prosperity; daughters, Makayla Griffith and Arizona Stockman both of Prosperity; brothers, Mark (Debra) Griffith of Newberry and Todd (Kim) Griffith of Pomaria and a sister, Christia “Cricket” (Don) Franklin of Irmo.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Glenn Street Baptist Church by the Rev. Keith Stott. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 until the hour of service.
Memorials may be made to Glenn Street Baptist Church, 300 Glenn Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
