Michael Todd Grimmett

Michael Todd Grimmett of Davin, WV Michael Todd Grimmett, 32, of Davin, departed this life Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Mallory, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born December 15, 1982, at Man, the son of Karen Harper Collins of Davin and the late Tim Grimmett. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeremy Lee Grimmett and Michael Walker. Todd was a machinist employed with Superior Filter Co. at Davin. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, fishing, and hunting. Todd loved spending time with his dog, Drake. Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother, are his step-father, Billy Collins of Davin; three brothers, Timmy (Elaine) Grimmett of Turtle Creek; Justin Walker of Davin, and Austin Grimmett of OH; his grandmother, Geneva Harper of Elk Creek; one niece, Abigail Grimmett; and four nephews, Timmy Grimmett, and Ian, Taytem, and Skyler Walker along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at the Greenville Freewill Baptist Church at Greenville with Pastor Gary Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the church and one hour prior to services at the church also.
