Michael Richard Guerrero, Age 57, of Pasadena, Texas passed peacefully after a long battle with cancer and went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 1st, 2025, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in San Antonio, Texas at Lackland Airforce Base on November 3rd, 1967. Michael was a devoted Husband of 21 years, Son, Father, GPa, Brother, Uncle, Nephew and Friend who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Michael was a kind and caring man who enjoyed his time with family and friends. He loved life and loved spending it with his wife, Brandie, whether traveling or staying at their home where he felt most comfortable. He particularly enjoyed spending time with her at the beach and visited as often as possible. He adored his fur-baby, "Walker, Texas Ranger" and was proud to take him everywhere he could. Michael was a sports enthusiast; he was very knowledgeable about most sports. His favorite teams were the Houston Texans and the Houston Astros. He enjoyed going to sporting events with his friends and family; he enjoyed watching boxing and MMA. He had a passion for billiards and enjoyed playing in a league with his lifelong friends, Shawn and Tracy. Michael had hoped to someday return to Las Vegas with his league. He also had a passion for music and loved to sing; he had a great voice and enjoyed performing. He sang at karaoke any chance he got. He enjoyed going to the deer lease to hunt with his stepdad, Bill, and took many family trips to Leakey, TX over the years. He was very proud of his grandchildren and loved being their Gpa. He shared a special connection with his granddaughter, Aidenn, and enjoyed going to her soccer games as he had done with his daughter, Amber, when she was young. He was also very proud of his nieces and nephew and enjoyed attending their plays and performances. He loved his family and friends and never left a phone conversation or a visit without saying "I love you." He shared many special memories and moments with all of us, and we will treasure those times together forever. Michael worked as a Service Advisor in the Automotive Industry for over 25 years and had many beloved clients and co-workers. He was passionate about his work and looked forward to helping his clients, who he also considered good friends. He was preceded in death by his father Henry Guerrero, Jr. Staff Sergeant, Grandparents Henry Guerrero Sr. and Celia Guerrero-Ferro, Uncle Tony Martinez and Aunt Judy Martinez, Nephew Stephen Joseph Heflin and his Grandparents in law, Eugene and Shirley Lockey. He is survived by his wife Brandie Guerrero, daughter Amber Braly and her husband Austin Braly along with their three children, Kaydence, Aidenn and Wylder, daughter Bryanna Guerrero, mother Charlotte Pool and step father Bill Pool III, mother-in-law Jerrie McCoy and father-in-law Mike Lockey and their sons Robert and Jeffrey, sister Nancy Burkholder and her husband Johnny Burkholder along with their son Patrick Heflin and his wife April and their children and grandchildren, sister Kimberley Kickertz and her husband Tony Kickertz along with their three children Kayla, Hannah and Trevor who affectionately called Michael "Uncle Bubby". Michael is also survived by his uncle Dr. Jorge Guerrero and his partner Jackie, uncle Richard Guerrero Retired Master Sargent and his wife Joyce along with their daughter Monica and son Henry, uncle Mario Guerrero and his wife Karen and their daughter Taylor and son Hunter, aunt Chela along with her husband and children, aunt Sharon Haby and her husband Leroy along with their sons Jordan and Taylor, his cousins Pat and her husband George, Leti and her husband Mark, Annette, Pokey, Rosalind, Susie and many others who loved him dearly. Michael will be remembered for his love for people and for life, his strong faith, his inspirational strength through adversity, and the legacy of love and service that he leaves behind. His surname, Guerrero, means "Warrior" and Michael took pride in and lived up to his name. We will love and miss you always. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, at First Baptist Church Pasadena, 7500 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, TX 77505 with reception to follow for family and friends.
