Michael Albert Guertin

Michael Albert Guertin, loving husband and son, was called home November 6, 2022 with his wife Angelica, and his father and Betty at his side. Michael was born July 25, 1971 in Springfield, MA. to Paul and Ellen Guertin. His Mother Ellen passed away Dec. 16, 2016. Michael was not only a loving, kindhearted and ever thoughtful husband to Angelica but also her best friend and soulmate.
A gentle dad to his fur baby, Toby. He will be greatly missed not only by his wife, Toby, Paul and Betty, but also by his Uncle Donald Guertin and Aunt Linda, his Uncle David and Aunt Pat, his Aunt Mary (Guertin) Fredette and Uncle Jerry, his cousins, their spouses and children, and his dear friends.
Michael was a loving and caring person who always put others first. Michael attended several different schools as he traveled with his family to the different places his father's work brought them. Most of his schooling, however, was in Chicopee. MA. He graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School and received his Culinary Certificate from Holyoke Community College. Michael loved music, especially AC/DC, loved reading books, a huge fan of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Spending times with friends, vacationing at Hampton Beach, and travelling. After he married, he continued his love of travelling and his passion for food, exploring different cuisine with his wife and collecting cook books. They recently returned from their dream vacation to Sweden and Norway. Cremation services are with Baldwin Brothers Cremation and Funeral Home in Winter Park FL. You are invited to share memories with the family @ baldwincremation.com. Funeral will be in Chicopee at Assumption/Holy Name Church followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery in the plot with his Aunt Donna, sharing the same cemetery with his Grandma and Grandpa Desroches. Date and times are yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Diabetes Association in memory of Michael A. Guertin.
