Mike was one of the most sincere, genuine, kind people I have ever known. I met him when he was the leader of the Behavioral Health Collaborative at IU Heath. Mike led us with integrity and strength to provide the best care for our patients. He was a great listener and a brilliant problem solver. Our success was directly attributed to his wisdom and leadership. What a great man! I loved Mike as a leader and person. He will be deeply missed by many. RIP Mike. I know you are in a better place.

I worked with Mike at IUH. Mike was always kind patient and compassionate. When my mother was hospitalized at IUH Ball in Muncie he looked in on her several times. She would say "that very nice and handsome CEO visited me today". Blessed to have known Mike. Prayers and thoughts with his family today.

Mike was a great leader and an all around great guy. Whether talking about a family trip or a difficult work situation, he always had a smile on his face. I was blessed to have crossed paths with Mike as I'm sure so many others have been as well.

I was able to be a part of Michael´s life for the last 8 months. I remember being the nervous boyfriend who looked forward to meeting him for the first time. The day came and he welcomed me with open arms and love just like he would with everyone else. He treated me with so much respect and kindness.
His smile, stories, and love he had for his family/friends will never be forgotten. We shared a special bond over sports and I had the privilege to play a round of golf with him at his favorite place, Kiawah Island. As he was a big Chicago Cubs fan and me being a St. Louis fan, we would always give each other a hard time about supporting the wrong teams.
It was an honor getting to know Micheal and share these special memories that I will hold onto forever. He will always be a part of my life and he will be missed so much.

Mike Haley was a breath of fresh air in healthcare. He was bright, articulate, and fought passionately for his beliefs but in a way that brought others into the tent. He will be sorely missed as a mentor, colleague, and friend. Blessings to his beautiful family.

Mike was an amazing human being who cared about patients, a rarity among administrators. His photography was breathtaking and he was the kind of fella who was loved as he loved. I´m grateful I had the opportunity to know him.

Mike was one of the best hospital administrators that I ever worked for. My work afforded me to know his family as well. My very best to them during this difficult time.

I will always remember Mike´s positivity, to see the good in all things, even Mondays. Mike believed in the best of people and gave them freedom and space to learn and succeed.
I respected Mike because he wasn´t afraid to stand and fight when he knew something wasn´t right. He seemed to have an internal guidance to know when to stand his ground and when to accept circumstances.
Mike was an amazing leader, coach, storyteller and photographer. He was gifted in so many ways. What I appreciate most about Mike was his beautiful and generous spirit, which is now free.

Mike made everyone feel at home in the Haley homes in Muncie, Kiawah and Carmel. I have such fond memories of wonderful gatherings with games and meals centered around his love of grilling. He seemed to always be doing little acts of kindness and he was an amazing husband and father. I will miss him.
