Michael Hall

Michael Stephen Hall passed away peacefully at Levine Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, N.C., on January, 6, 2026.

He was born July 3, 1943, in Mt. Airy, N.C., to the late (Charles) Reid Hall and Hattie Ayers Hall. Mike graduated from Mt. Airy High School and was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army in Frankfurt, Germany, during the Vietnam War. That is where he met his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Parzyk Hall. They married in Worcester, Mass., in 1967 and lived in Winston-Salem, N.C., where he worked for and managed several tire companies and tire distributorships before retiring and moving to Cornelius, N.C., to live on Lake Norman with his wife and be nearer their two daughters, Michelle Stephanie Hall and Suzanne Marie Hall Hunnicutt (Ryan) and two grandsons, Cooper Aidan and Grant Riley Hunnicutt.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janice Hall O'Dell. He is survived by four brothers, "Dennis" Mickey Hall (Betty), Charles Edward Hall (Britta), Raymond Donnell Hall (Tanya), and Gary Timothy Hall (Jill); a special cousin, GW Gibson (Terry) of Kernersville, N.C.; and several good friends in Winston-Salem.

Mr. Hall will have a Memorial service at James Funeral Home in Huntersville at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, 2026. Visitation will be 1:30 to 2 p.m. prior. His remains will be interned at Northlake Cemetery in a columbarium following the service.
