Your visits in the Philippines was a blessing to our family. Your warmth and humor brightened our days. As we got to know you better, we created memories that will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
We will never forget the joy we shared while cooking and enjoying your delicious meals. The tan lines we all shared exploring the beautiful beaches of the Philippines, and the laughter-filled evenings we all spent, raising a glass of beer or a favorite drink in our garage, will always be cherished.
Your presence brought so much happiness to our lives. We are grateful for the time we spent together and the love you shared.
Your warmth ,laughter and unwavering support touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing you ,You had extraordinary ability to make those around you feel special and valued and your spirit will live on in the countless live you enriched.
You have touched our lives for the good and we are grateful that we had a chance to know you. Your life was a blessing to us, your memory was a treasure. Your love is beyond words and missed beyond measure. Your vibrant memory will forever be remembered. We may never have a chance to say goodbye, but always remember that you are loved by many. Thank you for being kind to us and everything. Thank you for the two beautiful, loving kids that will be our sunshine in every sadness that we face. Don't worry; we will be their guardian and protector. Wherever you are right now, we hope you are in peace. You are loved, you are missed, and you are remembered. First met Mike in 2007 in Taji, and then ran into him in Kuwait a few years ago. A genuine good guy that would invite you over to dinner with his wonderful wife and kids. Just talked to him a couple weeks ago about getting a beer together next time I was stateside. I´ll still have that beer for you Mike. Rest easy my brother.

We met Mike way back when they lived in Copperas Cove. I think Courtney was 4 or 5 and Caity was 2 or 3 when we met. And although I have many memories of Mike, and nearly every one is hilarious, I want to share my absolute favorite.
Many years ago, Mike stood in as proxy for my brother when our youngest daughter was being baptized into the Catholic faith.
When the mass and baptism were over, Mike said that was the nicest church service he had ever attended, and he really loved when everyone was shaking his hand and saying `Pleased to meet you´.
It was actually the part of mass where you greet your neighbor and say `PEACE BE WITH YOU´.
We all got a good laugh out of that!
Later we moved to Ladson, just two blocks from them but we didn´t stay in SC but about 1.5 years before coming home, back in 1997.
He and his family will forever hold a special place in our hearts and memories and our prayers are with them all for peace, comfort and strength.
Rest easy Mike, until we all meet again.

Mike was a true professional, good person and I enjoy communicating and working with him. His legacy will always live on with all the individuals he was able to lead and mentor. I pray for peace, comfort and strength during this difficult time for Mike family and friends. May his soul rest in rest.

I met Mike in 2019 in Kuwait. As we first talked and found we were both from Northern California, we quickly became friends. We worked together over the last 5 years and shared many talks about work, family, life in the Military and anything else that came up. We both helped each other out when it came to navigating the VA to get things taken care of while working outside the US. Mike was a valued member of ManTech in Kuwait. Days where we were shorthanded, he never hesitated to jump in and help us out. The fondest memories I will have of Mike are when we were living in Fintas, Kuwait. If there was ever a birthday celebration or something happening, he and Melanie would always invite to come down to the Pool and grab some food. The Summer times he could always be seen at the pool with "Little Mike" and Michaele teaching them how to swim (in the beginning) then they learned quickly on their own. It became an every summer thing when I would look out the window to the pool. Mike knew to occasionally look up to see if I was there and give me a thumbs up. This was my que to throw popsicles down to the kids. If the kids had friends, he would hold up his fingers to how many I needed to throw down.
I will always remember Mike whenever I hear or think about Kuwait.
RIP my friend. You will be missed.
