Michael "Mike" Stephen Harman passed away at home on February 14, 2025 in Oklahoma City, OK. Mike was born October 20, 1950 in Oklahoma City to Donald and Marjean (Bell) Harman. Mike graduated in 1969 from Del City High School and then received his degree in Police Science from Oklahoma State University Tech. Mike began his long career with the Oklahoma City Police Department in 1973, serving and protecting the citizens of Oklahoma City until his retirement in 2000. Many knew Mike though his love of horses. He competed in as well as worked horse shows for many years at the OKC Fairgrounds.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Marjean; wife, Gloria; and his son, Wayne. Mike is survived by his sister, Donna Harman and her family; two sons, Michael Harman II and wife, and Josh Harman; daughter, Emily Harman; grandchildren, Lauren Harman, Josh Harman II, Serenity Harman, and Mackenzie Harman; stepdaughters, Shelly Putnam, Tina Aragon, and Lacreitia Thunborg. Mike is also survived by a host of step grandchildren and many other extended family members and friends.
