Michael L. Heft, Sr. 66 of Lancaster, Ohio died Monday, August 25, 2025 at his residence.
He was a self-employed painter and enjoyed hunting for ginseng, mushrooms, hunting and spending time in the great outdoors.
Michael is survived by his son, Michael (Fiancée Keisha Davis) Heft, Jr.; daughter, Tricia (Travis) Finn all of Lancaster; grandchildren, Bryce, Kayla, Jordan, Alex, Carter, Carson, Carly, Aubrie, Ariana, and Xavier Finn, Xander, Zoey, Zara, Sydney, Beau and Zeeliya Heft-Finn; great grandchildren, Rayleigh and Aliyrah Lutz, Brantley and Ayla Finn and Callie Lutz; father, Harold Eugene Heft, Sr. of Florida; brothers, Harold Eugene Heft, Jr. and Sam Heft off Columbus and Timothy Heft of Lancaster, and Brian Heft; sisters, Laura Mac of Baltimore, Chrissy Mac of Amanda and Erica Mac of Lancaster and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna L. Mac, sisters, Robin Gordon and Rose Bennett and brother Andy Mac.
Caring Cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, LANCASTER, OHIO. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
