My thoughts are with Mike´s family, and sending love to my cousins Laurie, Ed and Josh. I will never forget how Mike stepped up to take our wedding photos when my brother Wendell, who was going to do it, cut off the end of his finger.

One memory is of my argument with dad over Boy George. Dad thought he was a woman and I insisted he was a guy and called "Boy" George for a reason. Well, I got sent to my room for arguing about it. I´ve mentioned this argument a few times to him and he always had a big smile on his face when I reminded him who won the argument.
Dad instilled a love of Rock & Roll into my brother and I. I think of him every time I hear The Cars, Cheap Trick or Queen. He took us to quite a few concerts...Loverboy, Styx, Rush, etc.
Later, in my adulthood, he was a voice of reason and advice. He will be greatly missed.
