Michael Hopper Obituary


Michael Richard Hopper, age 64, passed away on October 30, 2025, at the Bailey Center for Caring in St. Augustine, Florida.
He was born on November 2, 1960, in Rochester, New Hampshire, to the late Ralph Arthur and Lorraine (Couture) Hopper.
Michael moved with his family to Palatka, Florida, when he was four years old. He grew up there and was part of the first graduating class of Palatka High School. He completed Army Basic Training and then was medically discharged. He later worked in the Maintenance Department for the City of Starke. Michael was a quiet man who preferred to keep to himself but held a deep love for his family and a few close friends.
He is survived by his brother, Dennis Hopper; niece, Brianna Hopper; nephew, Dylan Hopper; uncles, Joe Couture, Giles (Debbie) Couture; aunts, Madeline Hill, Lorraine Flagg and Elsie Whitten and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of St. Johns Family Funeral Home.
