Michael Huntine Obituary

Michael attended Columbia City High School and graduated with the Class of 2007. He then attended Ivy Tech Community College and Grace College, where he earned a bachelors degree in business with honors in 2015.
On September 14, 2019, he married Morgan Potts in Bourbon, IN.
Michael worked in supervision for the last several years.
He enjoyed spending time with family and was very family oriented. In addition, he loved anything outdoors, including fireworks, guns, and fast cars. Michael was an avid Notre Dame fan and a National BMX Champion.
He was a member of New Song Church, Plymouth and a proud sponsor for A.A.
Survivors include his wife Morgan Huntine of Warsaw; daughters Emersyn and Brielle Huntine of Warsaw; parents James and Margaret Huntine of Columbia City; paternal grandmother Theresa Huntine of Fort Wayne; brother Andrew (Jackie Pennington) Huntine of Justin, TX; sisters-in-law Alexis (Kody) Popenfoose of South Whitley, Brooklyn (Seaver Rothwell) Potts of Ohio, and Kendra Sumpter of Warsaw; mother-in-law Paula Keim of Warsaw; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by father-in-law David Potts, paternal grandfather James Huntine, Sr., and maternal grandparents Edwin and Rita Konkol.
Funeral services for Michael will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday January 4, 2025, at DeMoney Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with calling two hours prior to service.
Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Memorial contributions in memory of Michael may be made to Morgan Huntine towards Emersyn and Brielle Huntine Education Fund.
