Michael C. Jackson, 70, born on August 25, 1954, in Preston, Kemper County, Mississippi, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in Shannon, Lee County, Mississippi. He is remembered as a loving husband, devoted to his family and community.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Mayes-Jackson, who stood by his side through all of life's joys and challenges. His legacy continues through her, as they shared a bond that many admired.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Enos K. Jackson and Alma Conner-Jackson, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became. They are cherished in the memories of those who knew him, and their influence will always remain a part of his story.
A visitation to honor Michael's life will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Hebron Missionary Baptist Church located at 20154 Egypt Road, Aberdeen, MS, 39730. Family and friends are invited to come together to share their memories and celebrate his life.
A Celebration of Life will take place the following day, Saturday, June 28, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM at the same church. This event aims to reflect on the richness of Michael's life and the impact he had on all who encountered him.
Michael will be laid to rest on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 12:00 PM in Anderson Jackson Cemetery (Oak Grove Baptist Church), situated at 2237 Hwy 21 South, Preston, MS, 39354. In this serene setting, he will find his eternal peace, surrounded by the love of family and friends who have gone before him.
His memory will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him, and he will forever be missed.
