Robert N. “Doc” Holliday, 78, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026 at North Mississippi Medical Center—Gilmore in Amory. He was born on August 1, 1947 in Sulligent, AL to Frank and Elzora Markham Holliday. Growing up in West Point, he graduated from West Point High School and later attended Wood Junior College. In 1976, he married the former Carolyn Ellis. For many years, he worked for Mississippi Valley Gas, later Atmos and retired out of management. His hobbies included fishing and playing golf. He was Baptist in faith.
No services are scheduled at this time.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Holliday; two daughters, Monica Hall (Andrew), Hamilton and Elizabeth Gasper; one sister, Shirley Wheeler, Vernon, AL; three grandchildren, Hartlee Gasper, Knox Roden, Locklyn Roden; two step-grandchildren, Austin Hall and Mickenzie Hall; two great grandchildren, Cohen and Sutton Sargent.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and brother-in-law, Owana Wheeler.
