Robert S. Holliday, 89, of East Petersburg, PA, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026. Born in Wingate, MD, he was the son of the late Elsie (Insley) and Frank Holliday. He was the beloved husband of Barbara A. (Moulton) Holliday, with whom he shared more than 68 years of marriage.
Robert’s faith was a steady and guiding presence throughout his life. He took great pride in providing for his family and worked diligently to ensure they were cared for and supported. Known for his quiet strength and reliability, he was always willing to lend a hand to those around him. Whether helping a neighbor or offering guidance to his family, he did so without hesitation.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by his children: Robert S. Holliday, Jr. “Doc,” Mary, and William J. “Billy.” He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and his sister, Frances Bloodsworth of Maryland.
He was preceded in death by eight siblings.
Services will be private. Burial will take place in Old Trinity Church Cemetery.
