Michael E. Jacquot

Michael E. Jacquot was born on February 12,1953 to Dorothy F. and Jimmy M. Jacquot in Topeka, Kansas. He died on October 11, 2025 at his home in Eskridge, Kansas at the age of 72, with his twin sister, Michele, by his side. Mike graduated from Highland Park High School in 1972. He joined the Navy in 1975, making a career of it, retiring after 20 years of service. During his naval service, Mike was an aircraft mechanic, working on P-3 submarine spotters during the Vietnam war and both Gulf wars. Mike was proud of his service to his country. Mike also worked at Goodyear for 13 years after retiring from the Navy.
Mike retired to the family cabin at Lake Wabaunsee and after selling the lake house, moved into Eskridge, where he resided at his death. He is survived by his twin sister, Michele Jacquot, Eskridge, his sister Sandy Jacquot, Lecompton, his niece Catrina Sparkman, Carbondale, and great nephew Dalton, US Army at Ft. Riley. Mike loved his family, his friends, his country and his little dog, Callie, not to mention his various Harley Davidsons.
No services are planned, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to Midland Care, Topeka, or a charity of the donor's choice. The family requests no flowers.
