Michael D. Jaso, Sr, 68 of Keller, Texas, passed away peacefully December 15, 2024.
Born September 21st , 1956 to Emilio and Alice Jaso in Victoria, Texas. Michael had a passion for the military and football. Michael is survived by his three children- Michael D. Jaso Jr, of Austin, Jacob Stuart Jaso, of Calgary, AB, and Emily M. Jaso and her wife Michelle Perez, of Bastrop, Texas, granddaughter Vanessa N. Jaso, his long-time partner Pennie J. Fetter, and the mother of his children Cynthia R. Jaso. He is also survived by his siblings and extended family.
Michael is predeceased by his father Emilio R. Jaso, Mother Alice Jaso, and older brother Emilio Jaso. Living a life of service, Michael spent a career working alongside the United States Air Force (Tenth Air Force) and then with the U.S Army Corp of Engineers, wherein that time he successfully completed deployment to the Middle East. In his earlier years, he was quite the avid hunter and fisherman. Michael enjoyed football, cheering on the UT Longhorns, as well as hoping the Cowboys would win at all. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Foundation Fighting Blindness.
