Michael Patrick Johnson, age 43, of Plainfield, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
Born on May 3, 1982, in Chicago, Michael was the son of John and Susan (nee Hughes) Johnson.
Michael is survived by his mother, Susan; brothers, John Thomas (Nikki) and Joseph Anthony (Sheryl); nieces and nephews, Thomas and Kelly Johnson, and Maura, Cara (Zack), Johnny, and Anthony Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his father, John, a retired Chicago Police Officer, (2016); and an infant brother, Thomas (1978).
Visitation for Michael Johnson will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, 87 th St. and S. Hamlin Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805.
