Michael Darryl Jones

Michael Darryl Jones, age 73, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Kay Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Vonda Gage Jones of Buford; children, Miranda (Anthony) Force of Flowery Branch, GA, Michael Jones, Jr. of Buford, Skyler Jones of Buford; two grandchildren, Lily Jones, Sage Coroso; brother, Larry Jones of Homer, NY; sisters, Bonnie Aldridge of Florida, Debbie (David) McCoy of Florida, Laurie Jones of Wisconsin. Mr. Jones was born on October 22, 1950 in Binghamton, NY. He attended Cortland High School in Cortland, NY and was a veteran of the National Guard. Mr. Jones was a retired mechanic from General Electric with fifteen and half years of service. He was a member of Rest Haven Baptist Church in Buford. Mr. Jones loved playing the guitar, fishing, and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rest Haven Baptist Church (132 Ledford Road, Buford, GA 30518) with Pastor Landy McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
