I am so sorry to hear of Dr Kailas´ passing. He treated my mother (Gloria Celentano) for many years. As professional and knowledgeable as he was is as kind and concerned as he was. Literally every visit with him was informative, encouraging and fun. He always had something sweet to say to my mother that had her leaving his office with a smile.
I was so sorry when he had the accident years back and prayed for his full recovery.
Dr Kailas was part of my mothers dream team of doctors. He and his work will never be forgotten.

I met Dr Kailas probably 35 yrs ago while working in the old Holy Name Emergency Department, and through the many years since our paths crossed in the hospital and at neurology events and meetings with my husband (also a neurologist). Michael was so proud of his family. If I remember correctly he carried pictures of his daughter and also of him as a football player in his wallet, happy to show if asked.
Michael Kailis was an exceptionally gifted neurologist, but more importantly, he was the kindest, sweetest, and most lovely man. I missed seeing him around the hospital in recent years, but he was never forgotten. May your family share wonderful memories and heal from your loss

Dr Kailas was a fantastic, intelligent, caring doctor and friend. He went out of his way for his patients. He always spoke highly of his family with a smile. Visited his room each day with a prayer hoping he would get better. Will miss him.

We were so sad to hear of Michael´s passing. I knew Michael since residency. He was always kind, conscientious and knowledgeable. He was much loved by his patients and well liked by his colleagues. He will be missed. Our deepest sympathies to his family. Dr. Julie Fortunato, Michael Ehret and Mrs. Julia Fortunato
