Michael Kerley Obituary
MICHAEL PAUL KERLEY age 36 of Rockwood, TN went to be with the Lord, unexpectedly on Sunday July 6, 2025. He will be missed greatly. He was an avid outdoorsman, and he loved to hunt and fish, especially with his daughter Keyara.
He was born, October 18, 1988, in Crossville, TN, the son of Michael D. and Dottie Taylor Kerley. He was a member of Westel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents- Michael and Dottie Kerley of Rockwood, TN, daughter- Keyara Kerley of Rockwood, TN, sister- Ashley Haney and Andy of Rockwood, TN, niece- Marion Haney, great aunts and uncles- James and Rhonda Elmore, Albert Lowe, Bonnie Harger, Margaret Gephart, Robert and Helen Russell, Karen Kerley and Dallas and Ruth Kerley, aunts and uncles- Hope and Thomas Crabtree and Ray Taylor, cousins- Chris Taylor, Tony Taylor, Riley Taylor, Bailee Wagner, Breanna Taylor, Savannah Kerley, Levi Crabtree and Aaron Crabtree, great friends- AJ Morris, Mason Morris, Austin Cook and Thomas Pelfrey.
He was preceded in death by his Great grandparents- Paul and Pauline Kerley and Ed and Ruby Elmore, grandparents- Churn and Dorothy Taylor, Donnie Kerley and Peggy and Gary Spreacker and uncles- Steven Kerley and Joe Taylor.
Funeral services will be held Saturday July 12, 2025, at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am-1pm two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will be in Big Lick Cemetery.
