Michael A. Kimbler, a cherished father, grandfather, and brother, departed this world on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the age of 69 leaving behind a legacy woven from laughter, camaraderie, and an indomitable spirit. He was born on May 19, 1956 in Ft. Worth to William Randolph and Bettye (Stitt) Kimbler. Michael radiated warmth and humor, captivating all who crossed his path. People often remarked that he was a 'people person' who never met a stranger – a trait that served him well throughout his life.
For over three decades, Michael dedicated himself to driving a route for Frito Lay in the communities of Seymour, Brownwood, and Iowa Park. His career culminated in a management position, from which he retired after 31 and a half years. Throughout his professional journey, Michael’s enduring sense of humor and unwavering approachability made him a beloved presence among his colleagues and customers alike.
Beyond his career, Michael enjoyed his time at Possum Kingdom Lake, where he grew up spending summers and would later take his girls. In retirement, he purchased a 1972 Buick GSX car and attended car shows.
Michael is survived by his two daughters, Amanda Wallace and her husband Robert of Shallowater, and Becca Street and her husband Chase of Kress; four grandchildren, Wade, Jack, Stratton, and Jess; and two brothers, Daniel Kimbler and wife Adriana and Henry Kimbler and wife Awilda.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Virginia in 2023.
