Michael John Kopka, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Born on December 12, 1966, in Danville, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John S. “Jack” Kopka III and the late Helen J. (Benner) Perrault.
Mike was known and loved by many. We remember him as someone who loved a good prank, a good beach and a good time, but he treasured his family above anything else. He knew that life is short, so he did his best to enjoy every moment of it with the people that he loved. In his memory, we ask that you hold your loved ones close, forgive grudges and prank your family and friends. “Standing on the moon with nothing left to do. A lovely view of heaven, but I’d rather be with you.”
Michael is survived by his daughters, Angeline Marie Kopka and Darian Jean Kopka; his son, Michael John Kopka Jr; his sisters, Susan Flynn and Jennifer O’Blenis; his brother, Michael Kopka; nephews, David Canavan, Michael Canavan and Joseph Canavan; and niece, Sydney O’Blenis.
A private family gathering will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, to honor Michael and a Celebration of Life for Michael’s many friends and family will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 2:00pm, at Martha’s Exchange Restaurant and Brewery, 185 Main Street, Nashua, NH 03060.
