Michael A. “Mike” Krajcovic, 84, of East Canton, Ohio, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 29, 2026. He was born on December 27, 1941, in East Liverpool, Ohio, to the late Pete and Anna (Sutak) Krajcovic.
Mike was a 1959 graduate of Steubenville Central Catholic High School. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and honorably served his country. Upon returning home, he began working at a local gas station, where he met the love of his life, Leslie Dickson.
He later worked for 10 years at TRW Steel Mill in Minerva before transferring to The Timken Steel Company. There, he worked in the shipping and receiving department and also as a crane operator, retiring after 29 years of dedicated service.
Mike was a devoted member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Even when he was no longer able to attend Mass in person, he remained faithful by watching services each Sunday morning. He enjoyed collecting coins, bowling, and spending time with friends in his bowling leagues. He also cherished trips to the casinos with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of over 49 years, Leslie I. (Dickson) Krajcovic, who passed away on May 19, 2014; his siblings, Fr. Bernard Krajcovic, Bernadette Krajcovic, Jerome Krajcovic, John Francis Krajcovic, and Patrick Krajcovic; and his twin infant brothers, James and Paul Krajcovic.
Mike is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann (Kenny) LeMasters and Patricia (Larry) Barrick; his sons, Floid (Diane) Krajcovic, Robert (Betty) Krajcovic, and Ted (Barb) Krajcovic; his daughter, Yvonne Krajcovic; seven grandchildren, Antoinette, Whitney, Kyle, Melissa, Floid, Nickolas, and Jordan; five great-grandchildren, Lilly, Ryan, Peyton, Sawyer, and Jensen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, at Sanders Funeral Home, 218 E. Nassau St., East Canton, Ohio 44730. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., with Fr. Thomas Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
