Michael S. Kraszewski

Michael Kraszewski, born on June 30, 1946, in Nottingham, England, passed away peacefully

on March 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Stanislaw

and Marjorie (Gibson) Kraszewski and brother of the late Barry Kraszewski.

Michael was a proud patriot who served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam

War. After his service to his country, he built a long and fulfilling career with the Hoover

Company, where he especially enjoyed working with the public.

He had many interests, but his greatest passion was building model airplanes. He also loved

watching game shows and sharing stories with his grandchildren-often over a slice of

pizza. Michael faced many years of life with muscular dystrophy, yet he maintained a

remarkably positive outlook. He was deeply grateful to his devoted wife and children for

their constant support throughout his illness.

Michael leaves behind his beloved wife, Jadwiga (Krolikowski Adamczyk); his daughters

Aneta (Mark) Biernat and Elizabeth (Piotr) Zupinski; and his four cherished

grandchildren-Sebastian, Monika, David, and Christopher-who were the center of his

world.

He is also survived by his sister Lorraine (late Eddy) Cychosz; his brother Anthony (Halina)

Kraszewski; his nieces Nadine Tully and Natalie (Shawn) Shoenstene and their children;

and his cousin Joan (Brian)Skelton in England.

Michael will be deeply missed for his gentle spirit, his enduring optimism, and the love he

shared so freely with those around him. May he rest in peace.

Visitation Friday, March 13th, 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Colonial Wojciechowski Funeral Home

8025 W. Golf Rd. (1/2 mile East of Milwaukee Ave.) Niles, IL.

Funeral Saturday, March 14th, beginning with 10:30 am prayers at the funeral home and

processing to St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church 1321 N Burning Bush Ln, Mt Prospect.

Mass 11:30 am. Entombment All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
