Michael Edward Larose

Michael Edward Larose, of Springfield, passed away peacefully at his home on November 13, 2025. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, the son of Ciro Giannetti and Geraldine (Frennier) Larose. Michael was educated in the Springfield school system. From a young age, he had a natural gift for connecting with people. He loved making others laugh, cooking for those he cared about, and spending time with his family-who were truly the center of his world. Michael had a deep appreciation for good food and good company, always enjoying a memorable meal at a favorite restaurant. He also had a passion for driving and took great joy in getting behind the wheel of any luxury vehicle he could. He is survived by his three devoted children: Christi Jimenez, Samantha Larose and Michael Larose and his wife Mackenzie. He also leaves behind his three adored grandchildren: Luciano, Gianni, and Meadow, who brought him endless pride and happiness. Michael will be deeply missed by his brothers Mark Larose and David Larose, and his sister Annie Gilroy and her husband Paul. He also leaves his best friend of over 27 years, Anthony Suffriti, whose friendship was a treasured part of his life. Michael also leaves behind his former wife, Janet Stone Larose. Michael's warmth, humor, and loving spirit will be remembered always by those who knew and loved him. Family and friends will gather on Friday, November 21, from 10:00–11:00 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM funeral home service. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
