He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Lassetter and Mary Roberson Lassetter. Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Karen Lassetter; his loving sons, Jason Lassetter and Adam Lassetter (Nicole); his sisters, Elaine Lummus and Jean Crankshaw (Russell); and his adored grandchildren, Karah Lassetter (Brian), Logan Lassetter, and Owen Lassetter.
A memorial service to honor Michael's life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 PM until the time of service.
Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, dedication, and hard work will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

I am a cousin of Michael´s. Many years ago in childhood his family and our family were close, especially us kids, Michael, Elaine, Jean, my brother Daryl and myself. We enjoyed many family reunions, camping trips, boating on Lake Lanier, spur of the moment road trips to anywhere in Florida. All very happy and cherished childhood memories. So glad I shared some of them with Michael. The news of his passing makes my heart sad but the childhood memories make me smile. It looks like you had a great life...Rest in Peace
