Michael Wade Leaptrot

Michael Wade Leaptrot passed away Wednesday September 27, 2023, at his home after a lengthy illness. Born on April 12, 1960 to the late Alton Leaptrot and Catherine Spivey Leaptrot in Macon, Georgia. The family invites family and friends for a time together, Sunday afternoon, October 1, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM to celebrate and share stories of Mike's life at 4655 Old Gordon Hwy, Dry Branch Georgia
Mike retired from Brown and Williamson Corporation as a machine operator. Mike had a passion for being outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He loved his grandkids and always made sure they had piggy bank money. Spending time with family and friends was especially important to him and time with his buddies fishing in the Gulf together.
He is survived by his wife of thirty eight years, Denise Epps Leaptrot, son, Bryan (Jessica) and their children, Blakely, Grayson, and Kason, daughter, Haley Doyle, brother, Mark (Jennifer) Leaptrot, sisters, Kathy (Terry) Fahey, and Carol Wright.
