Mike Lenzo was perhaps the most kind, gentle and sensitive person/principal I ever worked with. I worked with Mike as a teacher at Aurora MS in 1972-73.
He really cared to make a positive difference in students lives.
I only worked with him a year, but I enjoyed every minute!
To his family, I am sorry it took 5 years for me to write this and I know how much you miss him!
Truly a Great Man!
Rest in Peace Mike!

My Uncle Mike was one of the best men I have know in my life. I have loved him so much ever since I was a little girl. He was always so happy and positive. I loved the stories he would tell me about my dad. He has left a huge footprint on this earth and will forever be here in our memories and our hearts. He will be missed so much but God has a very good angle up there with him now.

Mike was amazing. He raise an awesome family, was a wonderful friend and made his community a better place. He called my dad everyday to check on my mom when she was ill, my dad was so grateful. My family prayers are with your family. The love and memories are forever. Love and prayers from Mary, Nick, Jake and Hanna

So sorry to hear of the loss of one of my dad's best friends. They had many many good times together and were there for each other in times of need since college days. The Massoud family appreciates excellent men like Mike - he will be truly missed.

I have longtime memories of Mike and Mitzie living and raising their children on South Blvd. I will certainly miss those friendly waves to me at my little red house, as they drove to mass each day. To all the Lenzo family please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss and appreciation for having known your husband/dad/grandpa. Rest in peace, Mr. Lenzo.
Fondly, Barb Wagner

A soul set free is Mr Kenzie He was my principal and there was no doubt he loved what he did but more importantly he loved every student as if they were his own children I don't know how anyone could ever forget him As the Natalie Cole song unforgettable in every way yes you are I pray the family will honor his well lived and long life by continuing to love one another as he loved each and everyone of you He taught me what love is and how to show it because talking love is easy but showing love is proof of the gift of that I pass God's peace upon all of you and I know he has found sweet and eternal peace Thanks for sharing him with me He wasn't just a good man he was a mighty mighty good MAN!!!!
