Michael Leonard Obituary
Mike was a proud World War II U.S. Navy veteran who saw service on Iwo Jima. He was employed by the former Lincoln Dimensional Tube and the former Globe Distributors, Lincoln, until retiring in 1990.
He leaves his sister-in-law, Gladys DeLuca of Stuart, Florida; brother-in-law and caregiver, Charles Altonian of Seekonk and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John J. Leonard, Mary A. Roberts and Theresa Heissler.
Services will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 at 10 a.m. in the Historic Swan Point Chapel, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Interment with Military Honors will follow. Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted. Memorial gifts to Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island, 70 Bath St., Providence, RI 02908 or online at: rimeals.org would be appreciated.
