Mr. Michael E. Leonard, age 62 of New Tazewell, TN was born January 10, 1963, and passed away February 2, 2025 at the Claiborne Medical Center. He loved playing music and singing in his church. He was a member of the Church of God in Tazewell.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Elizabeth Surgener.
He is survived by his: Wife of 16 years Sandra Leonard Stepson: Eddie Leonard Brother: Ricky (Lesa) Davis Sisters: Denise (Clay) Kilgore and Paula (Bobby) Hunter And a host of many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 7, 2025, from 11AM till 1PM with funeral services to follow at 1PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Eversole and Rev. Ed Noonchester officiating.
Graveside services will follow in the Irish Memorial Gardens
Pallbearers: Clay Kilgore, Marty Irvin, Steven Gibson, Jackson Collins, Ricky Davis and Brian Cupp
The family request that donations be made to the funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
