Michael G. Linkhart, 82, passed away on February 13, 2025, at UMASS Medical Center. He was born on May 9, 1942, in Dayton, OH, son of the late James R. and Kathleen (McCormick) Linkhart.
He was raised in Xenia, OH, then entered the US Navy proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War. Following his discharge, he transitioned to civilian life in Boston before establishing a long-term home in Northborough, MA, eventually settling in Holland, MA, where he resided for 21 years.
For 29 years, Michael dedicated himself to his career in payroll at Hanover Life Insurance in Worcester. Outside of his professional life, Michael was a man of diverse interests. He enjoyed gardening and fishing and working on cars.
He is survived by his wife, Roseanne M. (Casey) Linkhart of Holland, MA, his children, Melissa Sanders and her husband Donald of Holland, MA and Patrick Linkhart and his wife Kristen of Plymouth, MA. He also leaves his sisters Susan Lonzo with her husband Rick, and Mary Stephens with her husband Danny, all residing in FL as well as his dear grandchildren Thomas Kewley, Donald Sanders, III, and Grace Linkhart.
Calling hours will be held on Mon., Mar. 3rd, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A private funeral service and burial will follow, respecting his family's wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wales Food Pantry.
