Michael John Lisko, 60, of Branford, CT passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 21, 2025 after a courageous battle with stage IV lung cancer. He was born in Bridgeport, CT on January 31, 1965, a son of the late Stephen James and Barbara (Horvath) Lisko, and had resided in Branford for the past twenty years.

Michael is survived by his loving soulmate Teresa Annunziata of Branford, and his children Brinna and Matthew Lisko of East Haven, two loving nieces Toni and Julianna Annunziata and his nephew Mason Salvati, all of Branford, as well as many extended family members and friends .He was predeceased by his brother Stephen Lisko.

He was a former employee at Finlay Industries of Orange, CT. Mike was loved by everyone he came to know. Anyone who knew him, loved his quick wit and sense of humor. He would always leave everyone laughing at his one liners. He truly was the life of the party. Mike was also a talented musician for forty five years. At the age of seven he taught himself how to read and write music, and he played a multitude of instruments; all self-taught. He was in many bands and headlined a lot of shows. He and Teresa also sang together in many bands.

Mike now gets to reunite with several of his pets, especially Duchess, Casper and Molly. He also left a few pets behind who are mourning his loss.

Mike's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, January 31st from 9:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Words of comfort will be shared during visitation time. A committal service will follow in the mausoleum at All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave., North Haven.
