Michael Clifford Little was born on January 31, 1953. He was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend amongst many other titles. Smiley is what his friends in Michigan knew him by - Mike never knew a stranger, or enemy, and was genuinely good from the inside out. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Jo, son, Adam, his wife Alex and grandchildren, Roslin, Quinten, Orion, Preston and Sivan, brother Larry and countless nieces and nephews.

He showed his sons, Adam and Ben, how to be a loving man who takes care of his family, and how to be a good husband. He put his family first and loved them wholly. He was always the first call when something needed fixing, and would show up to fix even if he wasn't called - because that's how he showed his love. He was reliable, honorable and was always there when you needed him.

He had a fierce love for his grandkids and couldn't go a week without them. He valued the individual relationships he had with each of them and loved them for who they uniquely are. He left a strong impression on how to be a good man in his son and three grandsons, and taught his granddaughters to never settle for less than a good man.

He was the neighborhood fix it guy- as well as anyone else that needed help. Mike loved helping his neighbors and those in need, all you had to do is ask and he would drop whatever he was doing and come help. He spent the last months of his life completing all the "one day we will…" plans to his forever home for he and Mary Jo to enjoy with their grandkids.

He recently said to someone that he tried to live his life "Christ Like" treating everyone like he wanted to be treated and that showing love was really the most important thing. On November 5, 2025 we said goodbye to Mike after 72 years of smiles. We are all sad to lose him, but are so grateful we knew him and his love.

We plan to celebrate his life on January 31, 2026. Details to come.
