Calvin Little

Calvin Eugene Little, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and proud veteran, was born on December 17, 1944, in Leming, Texas. He peacefully departed this life on November 10, 2025, in Alvin, Texas, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever reside in the hearts of those who knew him.

Calvin grew up in Pleasanton, Texas, where his early years were filled with adventure and discovery. In April 1963, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country as a Staff Sergeant until his honorable discharge in December 1971. His commitment to service extended beyond the military, as he embraced a career in public safety, working as a police sergeant in Huffman, Texas.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Calvin was a man of many passions. He found joy in saltwater fishing, often crafting his own fishing poles to enhance his time spent on the water. His creative spirit led him to woodworking, diamond art, and intricate puzzles, activities that reflected his attentive nature and zest for life.

Following the passing of his beloved wife, Bonnie, Calvin moved to Alvin, Texas, to be closer to family. He is survived by his daughter Bunny (Michael) Guynes; son Daryll (Debra) Little; grandchildren Shelby Ondrus, Courtney Guynes, Nikki Ondrus, and Marshall Little; 3 great-grandchildren; and his dear sister-in-law Debra (Larry) Pierce.

Calvin's family and friends will gather together to honor his life and legacy during a graveside service at On the Farm Family Cemetery in Pleasanton, Texas, on November 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM.

Calvin was preceded in death by: beloved wife of over 50 years Bonnie Little; parents Franklin 'Gene' and Dessie Little; and sister Shirley Rutledge.
