Michael J Ludowese, of Minneapolis, was called home to Heaven on November 28, 2025 after a wonderful Thanksgiving with his family. He was 41.
Michael Jerome Ludowese was born on July 10, 1984, in Minneapolis, MN to Natasha Ludowese. Michael was his mother’s only child and was the apple of her eye. Growing up in Albert Lea, MN Michael could be found enriching the lives of those around him. Whether it was fishing at the channel, playing basketball in a pickup game, or just having supper at a local lutefisk dinner, Michael’s generous soul and gregarious nature made him friends wherever he went. Michael was a friend that anyone would hope to have, and many friends that he made throughout life became family.
After graduating from Albert Lea High School, Michael traveled the world with stops in England, Mexico, and numerous European and Central American countries. One stop along the way visiting his grandpa in Guatemala. Through all his travels, Michael’s eagerness to learn fueled many semesters and degrees at the University of MN and the University of Miami - DADE. It was while at Miami that Michael was blessed to be able to live with his grandma Rosemary. She was a true luminary in Michael’s life and helped Natasha raise him.
Throughout the course of all Michael’s travels and studies, his true passion remained his art. No matter where he went or whatever adventure he was on, he would always have a drawing in a sketchbook or a lyric for a poem he was working on. Always honing his craft. Through his life creating many exquisite works of art.
Left to cherish Michael’s memory are his mother Natasha (Billy) Ludowese, grandma Rosemary Ludowese, favorite aunt Jennifer Kim and her beautiful boys Parker and Arsalan Ardakani, special friend April (Shannon) Rose and her daughter Raven with whom Michael had a special bond. In addition to many family, friends, and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather James E Ludowese.
Blessed be Michael’s memory.
