Elaine Kathryn Ludowese

Elaine K. Ludowese, age 95, of Bloomington, Minnesota, formerly of Savage, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Elaine was born on April 19, 1930 in Stewart, Minnesota. She was the fourth child of Dominic Andrew Ludowese and Kathryn Elizabeth (McGraw) Ludowese. Elaine had a total of 8 siblings, 7 sisters and 1 brother.

Elaine graduated High School from Holy Angels in Richfield, Minnesota. She went on to graduate from Minnesota School of Business with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Elaine worked on the family farm and at Carpenter's Hardware in Prior Lake, Minnesota. Then, she worked for TIES School District, SuperValu, and Dayton's, all of which were programmer positions.

In her free time, she volunteered as a caregiver for the elderly and was also a caregiver for various family members throughout her life. Remarkably, Elaine made over 50,000 rosaries! In her later years, she loved to garden.

She also lived with her two sisters, Mildred and Marie, whom she cared for until their passing. Elaine was smart, caring, witty, a prayer warrior, and was strong in her Catholic faith.

Now, her strong faith has led her home to the arms of our caring and loving Father.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4625 W. 125th St., Savage, MN on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 1PM. There will be a visitation beginning at Noon and a luncheon to follow. Private family burial to be held at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Prior Lake at a later date.
