Michael Thaddeus Machos

Michael Thaddeus Machos, 58 of Old Bridge, known affectionately by all as Mike, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 29, 2023. Born on March 10, 1965, he resided in Iselin, NJ for over 40 years and then moved to Old Bridge, NJ, where his journey on earth ended after a courageous battle with glioblastoma (an aggressive form of brain cancer).
Mike was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Taryn, and a loving father to his two sons, Blake, 11, and Benjamin "Ben", 7. He was also a cherished brother to Mark Machos.
In his youth, Mike attended St. Thomas Aquinas in Edison, NJ and played for the local Little League team.
In his leisure time, over the years, Mike was a competitive bowler and a recreational tennis player. He enjoyed visits to the nearby Jersey shore, spending quality time with his family. He also enjoyed playing chess and cheering for the Phillies and the Devils teams (and Jets if they were winning)!
Mike was a dedicated worker, spending over 35 years at Playmobil in Cranbury, NJ. His commitment to his work was a testament to his incredible work ethic, a man who believed in the value of hard work and the satisfaction of a job well done.
Mike was a man of noble character. His word was his bond. He was a man of faith, his life a testament to his belief in the Lord. He faithfully attended Calvary Chapel of Old Bridge for over 20 years. Mike strived to live as a faithful servant of the Lord, his actions a reflection of his deep and abiding commitment to his God. His relationship with God was as solid as a rock, unshaken by the trials and tribulations of life.
As we bid farewell to our beloved Mike, let us remember him not with sorrow, but with joy. For he is now in the arms of the Lord, free from pain and suffering. Because he knew Jesus as his Savior, his spirit lives on forever, his memory a blessing to us all.
"I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7
A Memorial Service will be held on July 8, 2023 beginning at 10:30am at Calvary Chapel Old Bridge, 123 White Oak Lane, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
