Mike loved his family. He was an avid golfer and loved playing games on his IPad. He made friends wherever he went. He worked in the automotive industry and owned his own business "Tailites". He was an active member of the community and a pancake master!
He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Sandra nee Bellavia and his loving daughter Madeline (Roger Miller) and adored grandchildren Gil Macino, Tessa Macino Miller, Vincenzo Kristofer, Antonia Kristofer, Gianmichael Kristofer, Charles Kristofer and Matteo Macino.
He was preceded in death by his daughters Gina Marie Macino and Lara (Macino) Kristofer.
Memorial Visitation for Mike will be on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM. to 8:00 PM., at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Avenue, Chicago, IL 60638. Prayer Service on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 9:30 AM., at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM., St. Daniel Church 6612 West 54th Street, Chicago, IL 60638. For information call 773-586-7900 or visit www.ridgefh.com.

I´m sorry to see you go Mike. I couldn´t have ordered a better brother. You picked up where dad left off. I´ll always remember you being there for me as a child and an adult. You will live in my thoughts every day for the rest of my life. I´m just sorry I couldn´t have spent some time with you at the very end. That was taken from me and will never be forgotten. I hope you are with everyone who has passed before us. I´m sure I´ll be seeing you soon. I love you Schapp!
