Michael Markiewicz

Michael Markiewicz, 61, of Milford, PA, passed away on October 1, 2024. Born on December 28, 1962, in Bergerac, Dordogne, France, Michael was the cherished son of Josephine Markiewicz and John Delaney.
Michael married Celia Hernandez on September 12, 1999, in White Plains, NY. Together, they built a loving family, which includes his daughters Amanda Markiewicz of Mount Vernon, NY, and Holly (Zachary) Maharan of Kingston, PA, his stepdaughter Christine Jorge, PhD (Kenneth Dingsor), and his stepson Robert (Kerri) Petrelli. Michael was also a proud grandfather to his step-grandson, Case Pearson-Leary, son of Christine.
Michael was a Field Service Engineer with Perkin Elmer in Hopkinton, MA, from which he retired in 2016. He also proudly served in the U.S. Navy, a testament to his dedication and service to his country.
A man of compassion and kindness, Michael had a heart of gold. He was always willing to lend a hand to those in need and never wanted to see anyone sad, especially children, striving to bring smiles and laughter to all around him. Out of all of his names and nicknames, his preferred moniker was "Daddy".
Michael was an avid reader, enjoyed building models, fishing, and flying. Above all, he cherished spending quality time with his loved ones, creating lasting memories.
