Michael Marto Obituary
He was born in Camden, NJ to the late Michael J., Sr and Jean Marto. He was a former resident of Pennsauken, NJ before moving to Mount Laurel, NJ. He was a beautician for over 69 years and enjoyed going to the race track and watching horse races, playing pool and taking a chance on the lottery, but mostly cherished the time he spent with his family.
Michael is survived by his wife of 68 years, Peggy Jane Marto, his daughter Peggy Beth Sockwell and her husband Russ, his grandchildren, Michele Imperato (Todd) and Gina Davis (Ryan) and his great grandchildren, Greyson and Ryan Davis.
Service and interment are private.

He was my great uncle, I remember as a little girl my father always taking me to their beauty salon to see him. Not only that but my dad always telling me how he never turned him down for nothing and was more a father to him than his own father. I hope my dad met him at the gates of heaven

My deepest condolences to Peg n the family. I met Mike n Peg when I worked at Cosmo Prof where they would buy beauty supplies. 14 years I worked there n when they came in, Mike made my day. He was a feisty old guy who made me laugh. They were a cute couple. R.I.P Mike. You'll be missed. Love, Linda Pennestri
