Barbara Rynn Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mount Laurel Home for Funerals & Cremation Services, Inc. on Feb. 6, 2026.
Barbara Rynn passed peacefully Thursday evening, January 29, 2026, and is in the best hands now and reunited with her parents. She is survived by her six children, Dr. Moira Rynn, Brenda Rynn, Rosealeen Brand, Deirdre Robidoux, Kevin Rynn, and Alana Wallbillich who feel blessed for the time they had with her during her 84 years. Barabra was a constant, strong, generous, loving Mother who will be missed every day.

Barbara was born December 5, 1941, in Queens, New York and grew up in New York, the third of five children raised by Edward and Veronica McPartland. Barbara married Kevin Rynn and in 1972, they moved to Settler's Ridge, New Jersey where they raised their six children together for about 21 years. Barbara believed that family was everything and felt strongly in providing her children with a Catholic school education. With her GED, she became a bookkeeper for a jewelry store in Hackettstown, NJ and eventually become a store manager at Musselman's Jewelers in Easton, PA. She had a great work ethic and was able to be sure all her children had piano and dance lessons, were involved in school plays or sports, graduated from Catholic High Schools, and went on for higher education. She worked in retail for about 30 years, all the while driving her kids back and forth to school and extracurricular activities in the morning and evenings. She had a beautiful singing voice and striking pale, sky blue eyes. She valued hard work, faith, and family and always put others before herself. She was a master saleswoman because she was honest and had loyal customers.

When Barbara and Kevin divorced, Barbara moved to Pennsylvania and continued to work and shower her 10 grandchildren with love and attention. In 2020, Barbara moved to live with her children in Mount Laurel, NJ and eventually, due to dementia and COPD complications, resided in Medford Care Center for the last few years of her life. Her children visited every day for lunch, rarely missing, and her sister and brother and their families were frequent visitors. Even as her family remembered for her, Barbara still tried to find the words to sing her favorite songs and asked for her Mom and Dad and her other family members. Anyone who met her, commented on her lovely Irish eyes, on her beautiful singing voice, and on the wealth of family she had.

Barbara is survived by her younger brother Kevin McPartland and sister Anne Conrad; her six children and ten grandchildren. She will be remembered fondly by her extensive family of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, who knew her as Aunt Barbara.

Following Barbara's wishes, the family will have a private visitation and mass to celebrate her life.

In lieu of flowers, we suggest a contribution in her memory to Church of the Holy Eucharist, Tabernacle, NJ where Barbara attended mass with her family while she was able in her last 5 years. You may access online giving at "Give" by copying and pasting this link:

and should choose the "One-Time" only tab and choose the "Fund" that states "In Memory" and add "Note" with her name, Barbara Rynn.
