Loretta T. Flaherty

Loretta T. Flaherty, age 96, of Newfield, NJ, formerly of Mount Laurel, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Loretta was born on April 17, 1929 to the late Mary and Harry Lewis in Camden, NJ. She was strong in her faith to God and a longtime member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hainesport where she was active in the choir, part of the RCIA team, a Eucharistic Minister and a lector. Loretta was former secretary and past president of the Willingboro Women's Club and a member of the Road Riders Motorcycle Club. She was employed by Deborah Heart and Lung Center for many years as a patient coordinator. In her free-time Loretta enjoyed reading, crafts, photography and bird watching. She devoted her life to her family and friends and loved spending time with them. Loretta will be missed deeply by her loved ones.

Loretta is predeceased by her husband, William "Whitie" and her daughter, Pat Shaw. She is survived by her daughters, Pam Flaherty, Paula Flaherty and Pennie Potrzuski (John); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris), John (Maria Anne), Mary (Rob), Kyle (Gina) and Dan (Kelsey); her great-grandchildren, Riley, Vinny, Aubrianna, John, Jack, May, CJ, Emersyn, Layton and Caden; her loving fur baby, Bailey.

Relatives and friends are invited to Loretta's viewing on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 9AM-10AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1603 Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ 08036. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10AM. Interment New Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
