Mike Maxie was more of a parent to my sons than their own dad and he did it purely out of love for nothing in return. He´s a good man and will be dearly missed by the Raffaele- Artuz family, including Dean Artuz, age 3, who Mike was like an adopted father to in many ways.

Here´s how I´ll be explaining Mike´s passing to Dean.

.
.
.

Uncle Mike´s in Heaven
He lives up in the sky.
He´ll always live inside you
And you´ll feel him so don´t cry.

Uncle Mike´s in heaven
There´s no reason or rhyme.
He´s a long ways away today
And won´t come back this time.

We know how much he loved us.
His loyalty is true.
Uncle Mike´s in Heaven, Dean
But he lives on inside of you.

Michael shared many of our family events. Mike was a really good guy. My former post has type errors because I am so shook. I cannot begin to tell you how much he meant to us. May The Perpetual Light Shine upon him.

Mike was played an integral role in raising my grandsons. Uncle Mike will forever be near and dear to our hearts. We vacationed often at J8m Thorpe and Wildwood. Mike always ran the grill. We are heartbroken.
