It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael W. Mayfield, who died on November 15, 2024, at the age of fifty-two at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Michael was born on December 14, 1971, in Modesto, California, to Mary Rogers and Billy Mayfield. In 1991, Michael met the love of his life, Frances. The couple married on February 14, 2002, and later moved to Hollis, Oklahoma, in 2001.
Michael was a man who loved life-he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was also a passionate fan of the San Francisco 49ers. Michael attended the Assembly of God Church in Hollis, Oklahoma, where he made many lasting friendships.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Frances Mayfield of Hollis; sons, Jonathan Nesen of Wichita Falls, TX, Steven Jensen of Altus, OK, and Michael Jr. of Colorado; daughter, Clara Pantoja of Hollis, OK; sister, Talisha and her husband Shawn of California; nephew, Billy Boy of California; sister Penny Mayfield of California; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Rogers; father, Billy Mayfield; brother, Josh Mayfield; and his grandmother and uncle, Leon.
Michael's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. His love, kindness, and infectious spirit will be deeply missed.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, Oklahoma.
