In his younger days Michael enjoyed quality time with his children. Michael loved fishing with his son, and the occasional drag race. Michael also loved spending time in Wisconsin after a good snow fall as he always said he was a snowman melting in Florida.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, Diane and Roger McCombs as well as his daughter, Michelle McCombs.
Michael is survived by his wife of many years, Mindy Gates, his children; Michael McCombs, Jr. Melinda Penton, grandchildren, Gabrielle Walker, Michael McCombs, Jaden Baker, brothers; Ed McCombs (Ava), Roger McCombs, Brian McCombs as well as many nieces, nephews and loved extended family.
A special thank you to Tia for the loving support through this hard time.
A graveside service will be Friday, November 14, 2025 at 1:00pm at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
