Michael McDavid Obituary
Michael was the dear son of Mary Joan McDavid and the late Charles McDavid, a lineage of strength and character. He was a loving father to his children, Michael McDavid, Michelle Keener and her husband Eric, and Mellisa McDavid. His role as a devoted "Pop" was embraced with open arms, cherishing every moment with his grandchildren Caitlyn, Caleb, Victoria, Cameron, and Brielle. Michael's spirit was further cemented by the love of his siblings, Charles, Brenda, Kent, Wayne, and Patrick, as well as the late Mary Jo. He was the cherished soulmate of Donna Poe. He also leaves behind numerous family members and friends who were touched by his vibrant spirit.
Professionally, Michael served as a dedicated Master Plumber for Baltimore County Public Schools, where his skills and reliability were unmatched. An adventurous soul, Michael was an avid outdoorsman; hunting deer and fishing near Loch Raven Reservoir, Port Deposit, and Susquehanna were activities that brought him great joy. He relished the Bayside life, crabbing and taking trips to Brook Haven, Mississippi, and his passion for riding his Harley Davidson was known to all who loved him.
Described by those who knew him as handy and adventurous, Michael's energetic approach to life inspired many. Today, we bid him a heartfelt farewell, as we remember a life lived to the fullest, a life that touched so many with its authentic warmth and unwavering spirit. Michael McDavid will be deeply missed yet fondly remembered as we carry forward the memories he has gifted to us all.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Mike's life at the family owned Evans Life Celebration Home-8800 Harford Road, Parkville MD 21234, for a visitation on Monday, July 22nd 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 23rd 2024, 9AM at Evans. Interment to follow at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
