Heaven got a little sweeter when Mike crossed thru the gates. He was one of a kind. I met him in 8th grade when our desk were side by side. He was special then and stayed that way his entire life. He was kind, never judgemental, and a person who made you know there was goodness in people. When I would see him at the restaurant, we would have a quick chat, but it was a reminder that I and anybody who knew him had a lifelong friend. May God comfort his family and may you all know what a special man he was and that he touched so many lives along his way.

We have lived in TN for 20 years now, but always tried to stop by McDonald's family restaurant when we were in town for a visit. Mike has just begun to live...and we will all see him again in that beautiful place called heaven.
